Project move2zero wins VCÖ Mobility Award

The VCÖ Mobility Award was presented for the 30th time this year. The 375 projects submitted were evaluated in 12 categories by a jury of 52 experts. The five best-ranked submissions in each category were able to collect additional points in an online voting. The awards ceremony for the winners of the jury and public voting took place in Vienna in September.

In the category “Energy transition and electrification in mobility”, the lighthouse project move2zero, led by Holding Graz – Kommunale Dienstleistungen GmbH, won the first place.

Wolfgang Malik (CEO – Holding Graz) received the award on behalf of Holding Graz from Climate Protection Minister Leonore Gewessler. HyCentA was represented by project manager Michael Richter.

In move2zero, a concept for the gradual decarbonization of the entire public bus fleet in Graz is being developed. In a demonstration operation, two lines will be converted to zero-emission vehicles and data and experience will be collected for the optimal conversion of the fleet.
